Lisa came to our home last night, and my husband and I enjoyed a 3 hour cooking class and an incredibly delicious meal for his birthday. We started with a fresh and light salad with hearts of palm and oranges, had an amazing crispy duck breast with a cherry burgundy sauce, with a side of dijon potatoes and spinach stuffed tomatoes (so yummy!), and finished with the most incredible lemon souffle with cream anglaise (and we even managed to eat seconds because it was so good!!). Lisa was a pleasure to learn from, and every single dish we prepared was simple enough for us to replicate on our own. We could not be happier. Thank you Lisa!

Spent a night in Sugar Heaven yesterday with the Domestic Diva! We made 3 different types of cupcakes and learned some very useful cooking tips. Can't wait til next week when I will be cooking gnocchi with bolognese sauce from scratch. Yummo!

What a wonderful class! Lisa is a master of the details. First of all this class offered something for everyone. We all got our hands dirty but also learned tidbits that you can only learn from someone who really knows her stuff. It was such a treat at the end to sit down to a beautifully set table, reminding us all to use that "special" china because we are all worth it. A truly great night that I will do again!
